Pre-Season Week #1

Saints @ KC - WIN 34-30

I would consider The Saints one of the more dangerous teams in the league, even in pre-season. We got off to a great start and were leading 24-14 at the half. Then we simply put our heads down adnd outscored them in the second half 20-6 for the victory.
  • QB Jackson 8-10 197yds (152.9 rtg) 1 td - for a phenomenal rookie debut
  • QB Cassel 10-17 122yds (61.0 rtg) 1 td & 1 int
  • HB Charles 12-29 yds 1 td
  • Both HB Charles and WR Bowe also caught 4 passes
Great start! And it's always nice when you see rookies embrace the chance to play in their very first NFL game. If we had any doubts about our 2nd pick, in round 3, they were laid to rest. And I sincerely hope this provides some much needed push at the QB position to spark even more competition.
