The Return of The Chiefs - Franchise Year 3 (2011)

Last Year: We feel over the past two years of re-evaluating the team, making what we feel are needed moves and be strategically drafting where needed, we have improved. We just need the front office moves to transfer to the field. On to 2011 (Franchise Year 3)!

Pre-Season (All four simmed each week):
KC @ Rams - WIN 42-19
NY Giants @ KC - Lose 17-12
Broncos @ KC - WIN 20-14
KC @ Seahawks - WIN 28-26

The same record as last pre-season. Last year we were extremely hopeful after this opening, as we are this year, but there's also just a hint of "look what happened in the regular season" too! We'll fight that feeling.

This season Franchise Scouts have been told to look at both the defensive and offensive lines again. Look for anything and everything to bring in some backup talent and, especially on defense, anticipate the future with some rookies having time to develop before needed. Because FB Mughelli is now 31, I also instructed them to keep an eye out for any high potential FB. You can never have enough talent from which to craft a team, especially one that we hope will vastly improve each year.

The regular season is coming...
