New Madden 12 Dynasty - The Minnesota Vikings

"It's a brand new season. We're putting the 6-10 finish of 2010 behind us and are looking to build on some key off-season moves." That was the key message in the address of the new Viking GM.

He was signed just after the Donovan McNabb acquisition on July 29th of this year, but certainly must have been consulted prior to that move. There was certainly some debate over the summer as to whether the Vikes would go with rookie QB Christian Ponder out of Florida State, but that seemed to end immediately when the Vikings went out a got the veteren McNabb.

The new GM has signed a three-year contract to see if he indeed can build on the performance of last year. Certainly Adrian Peterson is the most potent ground force in the NFL and if McNabb can deliver the ball to the stable of receivers that should make them very effective on offense. The defense still has all the key parts to make them very tough - Allen - Greenway - Henderson. But the Vikes also play in what has to now be considered one of the toughest divisions in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers and a young, up-and-coming Detroit Lion team that seems poised for greatness.

2011 should be fun! As the Vikings begin their training camp and pre-season they hope that the pieces are there and they can discover some gems from among their new-comers to once again push themselves into the post-season!
