Let's be very clear...We lost this game! In no way did the Giants win this one!
If you look at the stats, we were more than solid, except for turnovers and the score, of course!
Here's the game for you in sixty seconds:
- NYG Cofield intercepts a pass early and goes 51 yards for the score!
- Cutler intercepted and on the next play the Giants put it in the end zone!
- We put a punt return on the ground and the Giants pick it up for another score!
It doesn't matter whether you can march it up and down the field at will and put tremendous stats up, IF you can't follow that up with minimizing your own mistakes and putting up more points than the opposition. We have now had several games this year where we have clearly been the better team BUT mental errors, lack of finish and players not stepping up to fill injuries, when they are given the chance, have produced losses.
This simply has to end!
We are now 1-3 on the year and could quite easily be undefeated!
I do not like the taste of last place!
