Tomorrow afternoon, at noon, Rich Rodriguez, Tate Forcier, Denard Robinson, Carlos Brown, and many others will be in East Lansing, for their first away game of the season, at Michigan State.
And while they all get ready for what could definitely be a knock-down drag-out fight...I'll be sitting on my couch, dressed in my Michigan Wolverines war gear, clapping and cheering during the good plays, and probably getting pissed off at the bad plays.
It's the Battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy. And although Michigan leads the rivalry 67-29-5, last year we saw Michigan lose it for the first time since '01, by a final score of 35-21. But this year...is a new year.
I, along with most other Michigan fans are completely sick of hearing about last year. Last year we were 3-9. Last year we broke all kinds of records for how bad Michigan has been. Last year blah blah blah! Well this is a new year!
Tate Forcier is a true freshman (along with Denard Robinson), but Tate doesn't show it. Watch him against Notre Dame...watch him against Indiana...okay, watch him against Indiana in some plays toss the ball up like a true freshman, but I can't go against myself now...
Although Michigan leads the rivalry by 38 victories, it doesn't mean it's a lock for us to come out victorious tomorrow. In fact, I'm a little worried myself. Our first away game, for our two true freshman quarterbacks, with all the pressure of staying undefeated...something that no one would have thought we could have done just five short weeks ago.
The way I see it, if Tate can have a really good game...and if Carlos Brown can run his butt off (maybe another 91 yard touchdown run), Michigan can come out victorious. But if Michigan has another off day, I'm thinking we won't be so lucky like we were against Notre Dame and Indiana.
I want to see them win tomorrow, but know that there's a possibility that they'll end with their first loss of the season. And if that does happen, I just hope that they all play well, and no one gets hurt.
But enough of being fair and honest...Tate is going to lead us to victory like he has all season long...GO BLUE!!!

I think that MSU is better than they have played this season but, Michigan should win today and become 5-0 on the season.

Sorry, but Michigan has gotten very lucky in being 4-0. That luck ran out today.
