Well guys, it's July 26th (two days before my 27th birthday!) and we've got a little bit more than a month before Michigan's season opener against Connecticut. And as much as I'm enjoying the baseball season, and how the Reds have been doing, I'm very excited that Michigan will be taking the field soon.

So last week didn't quite work out the way us Michigan fans wanted it to. So now it seems that much more of our schedule is in doubt (Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Ohio State). So now everyone is saying that Iowa is easily going to defeat Michigan this Saturday night, and improve their overall record to 6-0. But is there that chance that an upset can indeed happen?

Tomorrow afternoon, at noon, Rich Rodriguez, Tate Forcier, Denard Robinson, Carlos Brown, and many others will be in East Lansing, for their first away game of the season, at Michigan State.
And while they all get ready for what could definitely be a knock-down drag-out fight...I'll be sitting on my couch, dressed in my Michigan Wolverines war gear, clapping and cheering during the good plays, and probably getting pissed off at the bad plays.

The reason I think so...
First off, I think pro is a lot more boring than college football. And college football has all the pageantry. College has the fight songs, the mascots, the rivalry games, etc.
Another thing is, although good players only stay on your team for 3-4 years in college, in the pros, people seem to get traded or leave the team somewhat fast anyway. But for the most part, in college, the guys stick to the same team, unless cut, or they transfer. ... Read More
