INTRO

First time I have ever done anything like this. I have no real thoughts that anyone will read through, but the new box score layout is too nice not to use.

I have owned every version of Madden, all the way back to the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis to my friends across the pond). Back in the day, when I was a spotty teenager, it was all about the records I could break and the scores I could rack up. As one becomes older the focus changes, and now I look to get a realistic game going. I am not a realism nut when it comes to stats and I wont be trying to mirror the NFL with trades and the such like. I'll just go with the flow as the season(s) unfold. I have also turned off 'pre-existing injuries'.

Using jd_Seven's Slider set with a fewtweaks: http://www.operationsports.com/vBulletin/madden-nfl-football-sliders/436892-nfl-franchise-authentic-gameflow-experience-sliders.html

Also using modified Gameplans to tone down CPU aggression on both OFF and DEF.

Pre Season was used to customise the slider set and gameplans and as such the stats are irrelevant.

PRE-SEASON TRADES

Looking through the Ravens rostered I came to the conclusion that the CB squad was the weakest. So I traded with the Colts:

Ravens get: J Powers CB 81Ovr
D Brown HB 78Ovr

Colts get: W McGahee HB 83Ovr
F Washington CB 72Ovr
2nd Round Draft Pick

McGahee's salary was eating up $7mil so I decided the money could be better spent elsewhere.

The only other Roster change saw D Stallworth moved upto WR3 to add some speed and a deep threat.
