Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears

Bears claim nervy OT win.
NFL fans who recorded this game would do well to fast forward to the start of the fourth quarter if they want to see any meaningful action as the last period produced 28 of the points scored in a game decided by Robbie Goulds overtime FG.
The watching crowd at Soldier Field had no remote to speed the action up, as they had to wait until 14 seconds before half time for the first points as Gould kicked a 48 yd Fg. Both teams struggled to make anyheadway with the ball, even when gifted with possesion as Hasselbeck through two interceptions and Cutler one. Things didn't improve in the third as another booming 48yd kick from Gould was the only score, giving Chicago a 6 - 0 lead at the start of the fourth.
Cue crazy scenes as the fourth quarter packed in more action than the rest of the previous three combined. Seattle claimed the lead when Hasselbeck found Deion Branch 1-on-1 with Urlacher. There was only going to be one winner of that contest as Branch scored from 17yds out. The Seahawks fans, who have yet to see their team win this season, were in dreamland a minute later after Hester fumbled on the kick return. Seattle took full advantage four plays later and led 14 - 6 as Leon Washington scored on a 4yd run.
Chicago, to their credit, refused to panic, and 5 minutes later they were level after good work from Forte on the ground set up his back up Chester Taylor on a four yard run. Cutler calmly found TE Greg Olsen to complete the 2 point conversion and tie the game. Chicago kept Seattle to three and out on the following drive and Forte plundered 40 yards as they drove up field for Gould to claim the lead with a 29yd FG with a minute to play.
Seattle weren't finnished yet though as Hasselbank somehow contrived to move his team into field goal range for Olino Mare kicked from 30yds to tie the scores and send the game into overtime. Seattle won the toss and looked in great form until Urlacher found his way through to Hasselbeck, forcing him to throw the ball away when he had a reciever wide open down field. Again Forte took the game to Seattle as he drove in hard to set Gould up to kick the winning FG from 29yds.
