Chicago Bears at New York Giants
Bears tickled pink with win over Giants
The Chicago Bears came away from New York with the win after Jay Cutler threw two touchdowns in a 23 15 victory. Cutler was in impressive form throughout the game as he lead The Bears offence around the field, connecting with 7 diferent recievers.
After Robbie Gould had put The Bears ahead with a 38yd FG, it was The Giants who crossed the line first. Without injured QB Eli Manning, The Giants look to run at Chicago. Ahmad Bradshaw busted two 20yd runs on The Giants first drive, the second resulting in a touchdown as he ran in from 25yds. Chicago managed two further Field Goals in the 2nd quarter to make the score 9-7 at the half.
After the break Cutler started to take control. first finding TE Greg Olsen from 7yds and then connecting with Johnny Knox on a perfectly flight pass as the reciever streaked in from 30yds out. As Manning watched on from the sidelines, back up QB Sage Rosenfels tried to engineer The Giants comeback but Bears safety Chris Harris intercepted a deep pass on the very next drive. New York did manage to cross the line again when RB Brandon Jacobs broke through the line to score, but The Bears managed to keep the ball and run out time.
The win moves Chicago to 3-1 and joint top of the NFC North with The Packers. They entertain the 2-2 Panthers next week.
