Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

Chicago's Bowman shoots down Vikes.
Zachary Bowman was the toast of Chicago after his two interceptions and two touchdowns helped Chicago beat The Vikings 30-22. A packed house at a chilly Soldier Field had plenty of action to keep them warm in this NFC North battle for top spot.
Chicago got off to a dream start, converting on the first drive of the game when Jay Cutler found Greg Olsen, returning to the team after a three game lay off, in the endzone for his 3rd TD of the year. After a brace of three and outs for each team The Vikings finally got some momentum behind the strong running of Adrian Peterson. QB Brett Favre took a sho at the endzone, only for Chicago safety Chris Harris to deflect the ball into the hands of Bowman, who outsprinted the cover to score a 101yd interception return. The Vikings narrowed the gap at the end of the 2nd quarter when Peterson scored from 7yds out to make the score 14-7 at the half.
Chicago's defence claimed their second safety of the year in the third quarter when Tommie Harris brought down Favre behind the line. As the game entered the final quarter Chicago led 16-7. They extended the lead when back up RB Chester Taylor dove over from 8yds and when Bowman returned his second pick to the house the game was secure as Chicago led 30-7. The Vikings did try to rally in the final minutes. With The Bears looking to play the pass, Peterson found the space he needed and romped in from 84yds and then Favre found Harvin on a 33yd streak to give the score some respectability.
The win moves Chicago to 6-3 and gives them the sole lead at the top of the NFC North, with The Vikes a game behind at 5-4. They travel to Miami next week to take on the 3-6 Dolphins.
