Ponder VS Webb: Your New QB Controversy

Yes, the Jets QB controversy has been a big thing as of late, but look at the Vikings. Christian Ponder seems to get worse and worse every week, after starting the season so well. Last week against the Seahawks he put up just 64 yards, and threw a interception. People tend to blame the issues on a poor receiving core, but possible league MVP Percy Harvin and the large target of Kyle Rudolph make for great receiving options. He also has one of the leagues best running backs to help him out. This leaves no reason for the last three weeks of struggling. This problem could have been fixed this weeks though because the Vikings have a very skilled backup in Joe Webb. Webb has played well in every opportunity he has ever been given, but has failed to land the starting job. If the day comes that Webb finally takes over, the Vikings playoffs hopes might be saved, because right now with Ponder they are slipping away.

Ponder is the high dollar high draft pick, he has the rest of this year and at least half of next year before they label him a bust in my opinion. Webb is the non-drafted guy that they bought in to be a wildcat passing threat. I think more of Webb as well, they just wont give him a chance because it underminds their entire evaluation process. Just my opinion.
