What an amazing, but somewhat unrealistic, game. #7 Oregon Ducks were on the road against the #14 Oklahoma Sooners. The first half was pretty normal. 10-0 Oregon by the end of the second quarter. But the third quarter is when it all started. Oklahoma decided to wake up like a sleeping dragon and whipped out three touchdowns, while shutting out the Ducks.
Fourth quarter begins. Fourth down, Oregon ball. Oklahoma's defense held off for one more down, and the ball was turned over. Then they drive the ball down the field, but only come out with a field goal. Though, now its 24-10 OU. Oregon then comes up with a touchdown and makes OU punt. 17-24 OU, 48 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Oregon QB Bennett nails a 68 yard pass for a touchdown.
The game is now tied at 24 with about 40 seconds left. Oregon kicks the ball off to OU wide receiver T. Franks, and he takes it to the house. 24-31 Oklahoma, and almost all hope for Oregon was lost within seconds. OU kicks off and it's Oregon ball. 3rd and 10, 0:12 left in the game. QB Bennett throws a 75 yard BOMB to WR Williams for a touchdown! Once again, the game is tied.
Overtime begins, and OU decides to play defense first. Oregon keeps the ball on the ground and powers it in for a touchdown. 38-31 Oregon, and it's OU's turn. Oklahoma QB Allen is sacked on the first down. The next three passes are swatted down like flies, and the game ends. Oregon comes back from a 14 point deficit in the fourth quarter and wins the game on the road.
