I usually don't say much when I post "blogs" because they're not really blogs. I just try to give the fam up here links and vids to the sports games I follow when Op. Sports is a bit delayed in catching stories and such but I had to speak on this IGN review:
Now, I have yet to play the full game but the demo gives you a good sense of the game and even Czar and 23 state that the demo is a really "poor" representation of the actual retail game. There are things that I noticed in playing the demo and comparing them to what Czar and 23 say about the retail game.
That being said, there are a couple things that dude failed to mention in this review such as how checking your momentum and correct play calling are needed for getting to the hole, teams/players can actually get hot and cold (that's obvious even in the demo), and how DNA WON'T actually kick in til the regular season starts (or am I wrong in that? I don't think so) so he can't really factor that into his review. To me, this is a half-@$$ review yet based on the IGN EA bias I've come to dislike.
Personally, I always though IGN was biased against EA like the 12yo minded people who run around posting on the net about EA games. I'm neither here nor there but I want more accurate reviewing and I'm not even sure if anyone that reviews on IGN is a sports gamer just like another website that I won't name but is obvious in their bias. Most of those cats seem to be non-sports game nerds who get their rocks off more so on RPGs. Uhh, ha? I'm not full jock but I do have the little nerd within so I'm pretty fair and love ALL TYPES of games. Can't wait to see their 2K10 review because I KNOW it will be much more "accurate" and the score will be higher, as per their usual 2KSports reviews. I thought those things were supposed to be impartial?
