Another Year Of Baseball Is Here!

Hello baseball fans! The time is here yet again as baseball in back in business! The Minnesota Twins come back this year after having A very disappointing year last year. After the Twins came in third in the AL Central in 2015 with an 83-79 record, the Twins went back to one of the worst teams in 2016 while falling from grace to last place in the AL Central while going 59-103. The Minnesota Twins had no big FA signings this year and it seems they will try and build with their young core. The Twins will be led by All Star second baseman Brian Dozier as he leads a young core of players. Joe Mauer had one of his worst seasons last year as health was a major issue for him and the Twins acquired Ben Paulsen to possibly supplant Mauer as the every day 1B. The Twins also have Kennys Vargas who has been blocked for the last several years at 1B. It seems the Twin swill be giving Byron Buxton all the tools in the book to hope he succeeds as the every day CF. Thw Twins top SS prospect Nick Gordon seems to be on the verge of getting the call up but it seems he will start in the minors unless he has a very hot spring. Jose Berrios had a disappointing cup of tea last year but it seems poised the Twins will give him all the right things to succeed this season. We will look forward to the season!
