Miami's Look To The Future!

As we look into the future of the Miami Heat right now, the future does not look that bright. The Miami Heat were not expected to compete this season, But no one expected the 2-5 start they are off too. We see a Miami Heat team that can not find an identity right now and they seem to be playing "me" Basketball. Hassan Whiteside has been as dominate as ever this early in the season averaging a double-double. But as of right now, Whitside seems to be the only constant player in the starting lineup. The Heat still have serious questions at the SG and PF position. Josh McRoberts has been playing below average at the PF position but the Heat have no other pure PF on the team as Derrick Williams and James Johnson have been playing out of position. At the SG position, there is no clear starter as Waiters has been named the "starter" but has struggled. One of their big FA signings in TJ who they brought back has struggled as the 6th man and has recently lost the backup PG duties to Josh Richardson. But the big question that looms is what will the Miami Heat do with veteran PG Goran Dragic. Rumors have surfaced that the rebuilding Heat could ship out Dragic for another pick in the upcoming draft which is being said to be one of the best drafts in years and could even compete with the 2003 draft which brought in the likes of Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Kyle Korver and many others. That says much about this draft and with notable franchise PG's in the draft and markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball, the Heat could replace Dragic. We will stay updated with the Dragic situation.
