Rumor Mill swirling as July starts!

The month of the trade deadline is finally here and the Twinkies are still looking for deals to improve their team as they could possibly be setting up for a playoff run. The Twins were not expecting much heading into this season but the team has played far better than what was expected after last season .500 campaign. The Twins have been keeping an eye on Cincinnati red Catcher Devin Mesoraco as he rehabs back from an injury that has kept him out all season. It is rumored the Twins plan to try and acquire the catcher as they surely need help at the position. The rumored to go in the deal was Top pitching prospect Kohl Stewart and SS prospect Wander Javier. But Kohl Stewart suffered an injury that could keep him out so they may need to up the value. Also, the search fr a lefty starter may finally come to an end as they are looking at Hector Santiago from the last place division rival Angels and it seems the Angels are interested in prospect pitcher Alex Meyer who is pitching very well for the Twins out the bullpen. The Angels also seem to be willing to take on Ricky Nolascos contract as well. It is still rumored the Twins are looking for a left handed reliever and OF help at the deadline and we will keep checking back as the deadline approaches.
