The Minnesota Twins have purchased the contract of starting pitcher Alex Meyer. Meyers was 3-1 with a 1.08 ERA for Triple-A Rochester. To make room on the roster, Trevor May was optioned to Triple-A Rochester. Trevor May in 16.1 innings pitched was 1-3 with a ERA of 5.51. May will slide into the rotation left by Meyers in Rochester and Meyers will hop into the long relief role with the Twins.
