The most recent buzz out of the Minnesota Twins camp is they are continuing to be frustrated with the play at the left field position. WIth the year just starting, it is too early to speculate what the Twins will do with the Left Field position. Out of spring training, the Twins gave the nod to Oswaldo Arcia as the every day left fielder but so far he has under performed. Arcia was batting a putrid .089 two weeks ago but managed to pull his average up to .211. The Twins were rumored to be interested in Mets outfielder Juan Lagares as he was put on the block last week but the Twins have so far made no calls to the Mets about a possible deal. If Arcia keeps scuffling, the Twins could possibly move 4th OUtfielder Danny Santana into the everyday role as he has caught on fire while hitting a scorching .400/.400/.600 slash line. Another possibility is Arcia possibly going to Triple-A and the Twins calling up prospect Adam Walker. We will keep you posted on this subject over the next few days.
