Reports have been surfacing that Minnesota's international department is on full duties for when postings will happen for international players. The Twins front office have their eyes set on two top international Free Agents. Reportedly number one on their list is Japanese all star Shohei Otani. Otani is a Starting Pitcher as well as an Outfielder for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. H is rumored to be posted soon for any MLB team to try and sign him. The Twins are one of those teams that seem to be the most interested. After landing Park this last off season, they feel they have great odds at landing him.
The second player is Venezuelan Shortstop Kevin Maitan. Maitan is rumored to have a handshake agreement with the Atlanta Braves but until something is set in stone, anything is possible.
