Twins Second Baseman Brian Dozier suffered a strained thumb and will be sidelined for 1-6 days. Dozier has stated he would like to play through the injury but Manager Paul Molitor does not want to risk further damage to the ligament in the finger. Danny Santana and Eduardo Escobar will see an uptick in At bats while Dozier is absent from the line-up. Dozier is expected to miss a DL stint but we will check back on the injury in a few days
IN other injury news, Twins starter Tyler Duffy will start his rehab stint with the Red Wings tomorrow as he comes back from a shoulder strain that he suffered in spring training. No word yet on what will happen when he is activated from the disabled list on where he will go.
