Game Summary: Michigan got off to an extremely slow start in this game and was down by as much as 14 late in the 2nd quarter. Denard had a much more efficient game throwing the ball this time around, throwing a late touchdown to Roy Roundtree. He also ran the ball 20 times for 42 yards and 3 touchdowns in this key game. Vincent Smith also was key in the win, rushing for 91 yards. Michigan gets Eastern Michigan at home next week, which would seem to be an easy win

Game Notes
This game is going to be a great match-up between two high octane offenses. Michigan won against Western Michigan last week and Notre Dame took care of business against USF last week. Denard Robinson looks to improve his passing numbers from last week in which he completed a mere 4 passes. The Big House should be rocking as this is not only a rivalry game, but the first ever night game at the Big House.

Game Summary: This game started off shaky for the Wolverines as they struggled to get anything going in the first 3 quarters of the game. Denard Robinson saw his passing struggle throughout the game, completing 4 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown to Junior Hemingway with little time remaining in the 2nd quarter. Robinson threw 2 interceptions and looked really bad in the first 3 quarters of this game. But he turned it around in the 4th quarter, breaking two long runs of 70 and 80 yards respectively when the game's result was still in question. Vincent Smith added an 8 yard TD run with little time left on the clock and the game well out of reach for the Broncos.

The Broncos played a very good game up until Robinson's touchdowns. They contained the Wolverine offense very well and played pretty well on offense as well, only to see the stingy Wolverine defense hold them to a couple of red zone field goals. The Wolverines play Notre Dame next week at home in the first ever night game at the Big House.

Game Notes
The first game of the season here places the new look Wolverines against in-state opponents Western Michigan. Look for Denard Robinson and Vincent Smith to run wild against the iffy defense of the Broncos.

On the Western Michigan side, junior QB Alex Carder headlines an explosive offense for the Broncos. Look for him to try and pick apart this Michigan secondary with his experienced core of receivers led by Ansel Ponder and Robert Arnheim.

The preseason leaders for the Heisman include 3 QBs who all have put up excellent numbers in their career and look poised to do it again this season, and a WR and RB who have done the same. My pick as of right now to win the Heisman would have to be Case Keenum as he will put up ridiculous numbers and make people look silly in this Air Raid of an offense he runs at Houston
