Since there's no Spurs thread, and I've never had a blog, I figured what the hey...

To be honest, Tottenham were pretty lucky on Sunday, and I would be more than a little ticked if I were a City fan. The second card against Fernandes was more than a little harsh, and it completely wrecked the game. Even when they were down to 9 after the straight-red on Dunne, City still looked dangerous, and I was nervous right to the end myself (especially with Gomes in net ).

I will say that Tottenham did take advantage when they got the ball in front of the net (the second goal by Bent was a beauty), and a win is a win; I'm not complaining. I also know that City threw everyone behind the ball after going down a man until the last few minutes. However, they had over an hour to try to break City down, and the only way they scored (or even looked dangerous) was on two long balls; the rest of the time, I think King and Woodgate had the ball more than anyone. I'll take the result, but certainly some things to work on.
