What happend to the Pass blocking?

I was playing madden 09 with a created team and what I thought was a good o-line, when I got sacked like 10 times in a row. I looked at the replay and saw that they were not blocking! they seemed to just watch the d-end run right pass them and sack me then the idiot lineman walked over to block then when I was on the ground already!!! And on the defensive side I made a 99 ovr d-end with 99 speed and everything and I could'nt get a sack for nothing! I got pushed around like I was 5'5" 150! I mean I even made an all 99 d-line and none of them got even one sack. And if there's any slider changing I can do PLEASE let me know.
