Bettman - "Good evening everyone, and welcome to the 2018 (yes I'm still alive) NHL Entry Level Draft. Tonight marks the beginning of many great NHL careers, unless the Islanders have the first pick. I would like to welcome all our broadcast partners, as well as the millions(?) of fans watching at home. I would also like to congratulate the Edmon... whispering to off stage.. is this right?, sorry, the Edmonton Oilers, they showed the NHL World the miracles can come true, even North of the Border. Without further ado let's begin the 2018 NHL Entry Level Draft, the Philadelphia Flyers are on the clock."

"We felt that even though the three goalies were taken that we had an opportunity to grab Brad at the # 4 spot, and essentially get a #1 pick type of player at the #4 spot."

On Kuiper - "He's huge, he's a very big kid (6'6") and he can skate like the wind. You don't find a lot of guys out there like that, and we felt it would be more than worth our time to go after him"

On Beach - "Kyle has done a great job here, played wherever we asked him to play. Probably could have been a top 6 player if he weren't blocked by Neids (Neiderreiter) and Morin, he has the chance to go to Calgary and play top 6 minutes, very happy for him."
