2015 - 1st Round Pick
Analysis:
Here's the thought process, Okposo is up after this year and already making just under $4,000,000 a year. Connolly is up as well, but given his lack of NHL experience and age, I think he will want well less than that. So essentially, the deal is our 1st round pick so in the bottom third for Connolly. Connolly will be thrown into the fire, 2nd line RW, let's see what the kid can do... but imagine what the top six will be next year or in two years. I think I have positioned us to be an outside contender this year, but a force in a year or two..

LW - Morin / C - Toews / RW - Kane
LW - Neiderreiter / C - Giroux - RW - Connolly
