CHICAGO -- No one said it was going to be easy, especially after last year's debacle. But the mantra all year long was to keep Corey Crawford fresh for the stretch run and the playoffs, in this series, Crawford was the difference. "I don't know if I feel stronger, but the last two games I was seeing the puck well, and my defensemen were doing a great job opening shooting lanes for me to see and clearing rebounds as well" Crawford said. I'll say, Corey is on a tear, stopping the last 77 shots the Oilers threw at him on his way to shut-outs in game 5 and in game 6, obviously no easy task given the Oilers firepower. "They have a lot of weapons all over the ice, I didn't think we did a good enough job in game 6, but Crow was there to bail us out when we needed it," said Seabrook. On to Round Two where the Minnesota Wild await.
