-- Colorado came to us with this deal, had to take it. O'Byrne is making more than Carcillo and will not play for us, but he makes for a great # 7 D-man, and his contract is up at the end of the season, makes more sense for us to get the 1st rounder.

Really happy that he was released, he will play RW on the 4th line now, this really helps the defensive depth, and replaces Carcillo.
