California buries winless Liberty behind Rabb's 26 points

BERKELEY - Ivan Rabb scored 26 points to lead California to a 93-70 win over Liberty on Sunday.

Five Golden Bears made their way into double figures as Jordan Mathews added 16 points, Jabari Bird 12, Kingsley Okoroh 11 and Roman Davis 10.

Cal shot 50 percent from 3-point range on the night, connecting on 9-of-18 and shot 16-of-20 from the charity stripe.

Liberty came out swinging and hung around for the first half, 40-34, but their lack of depth was apparent in the second half as Cal (8-6) outscored the Flames (0-13) 53-36 to waltz to a 23-point victory.
