BERKELEY - It was a neck-and-neck game for three quarters, but a second-half surge from No. 11 California helped the Golden Bears bury Colorado 42-24.

Colorado struck first on a Christian Powell touchdown run to lead 7-0 in the first quarter, but Cal would respond in the second quarter when Davis Webb found Chad Hansen on a 24-yard touchdown strike to tie it at 7-7.
Noa finished with a career high 209 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches.
Later in the half, Diego Gonzalez booted a field goal from 33 yards out to give the Buffs a 10-7 halftime lead.
Immediately after the half, on the first drive, Webb found Kanawai Noa on a 72-yard touchdown strike for the Golden Bears' first lead of the game, 14-10, with 6:37 left in the third quarter, but Powell busted open a 65-yard score for the Buffs to regain the lead 17-14.
Webb put together a systematic drive, which ended with a two-yard touchdown run by Vic Enwere to lead, once again, 21-17. The defense would get the ball back for Webb, who found Noa again on a 35-yard strike to extend the lead 28-17.
Colorado (4-6, 2-5 in Pac-12) wasn't done yet as Sefo Liufau found Devin Ross on a 38-yard pass to close the lead to 28-24 as the third quarter ended.
From that point on, it was all Cal (10-1, 7-1), as Webb would run in a touchdown on the ground and find Hansen again one more time to seal the win.
Webb finished the day 30-of-46 for 443 yards, four touchdowns and just one interception. Noa had a career high 209 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches, and Hansen caught five balls for 89 yards and two scores of his own.
Khalfani Muhammad helped Webb manage the game with 17 carries for 101 yards and several key first downs.
Liufau finished 21-of-45 for 314 yards and one touchdown for Colorado.
