SAN DIEGO - Statistically, Cal has one of the top offenses in the country this season, but it was the Golden Bear defense that got it done against the Aztecs on Saturday.
Cal's defense allowed just 233 total yards while the offense racked up 520 yards of their own.
Davis Webb connected on 27 of 38 passes for 266 yards and one touchdown and added another score and 94 yards on 15 carries. Vic Enwere punched in two scores and 54 yards on 13 carries and Khalfani Muhammad ran nine times for 89 yards.

Tight end Raymond Hudson led all receivers with seven catches for 94 yards, and Chad Hansen caught five balls for 65 yards.
Both defenses played strong in the first half as Cal took a 7-0 halftime lead into the locker room. In the third quarter, Enwere punched in another Golden Bear touchdown to extend the lead 14-0, but on the next drive Damontae Kazee intercepted Webb and returned it 73 yards to cut the lead to 14-7.
