I woke up Friday knowing that the MVP pack would be dropping sometime in the afternoon. I planned to buy two boxes worth of VC credit to try at some of the diamonds such as the Tim Duncan or Kobe Bryant. My first two boxes gave me about 60% silvers ranging from 70-79, and the rest golds with the best being an 84 Kevin Love.

At this point Twitter was blowing up with retweets from Ronnie 2K filled with multiple amethyst pulls and diamond pulls. Later that day I decided to try for a third box and still got mostly trash. I wouldn't have bought another box but fortunately I was drinking for March Madness (and a lot after Jesperson's shot) and decided to buy a fourth box. In back to to back packs on the 3 and 4 I pulled a MVP Kevin Durant and a MVP Allen Iverson.

Although I found out next that the entire market had crashed, I had a tidy amount of MT at my disposal and was able to grab Steph Curry on the cheap. I decided not to sell my pulls and ended up improving my starting line up at three positions. As a bonus to me I was finally able to complete the level 2 challenges by completing the Steph "what if" challenge.
