Madden 25 Nice but disappointing

I gave up on Madden back in 2010 I believe I wasn't happy with the gameplay or other stuff that I don't really remember. However a bit about me before I delve deeper I am not a baller ok I admit I SUCK at controlling the game Offensively I would say I am fair still can't juke or stiff arm but I can say I am ok but where I suck at really is on the defensive side of the ball.

So this year I pre-ordered Madden I just missed playing I guess in my own way see because I suck I like to sit back and coach the game. I also found it cool at times to sit back and just watch the CPU go head to head especially when I am doing things around the house it was fun to have on while I was doing something.

Ok sorry my 1st actual blog and I am rambling. Overall I like the game however what I am disappointed in is not being able to actually COACH my team in franchise if you are coach that is what you do coach you do not play. And if your an owner I can't see you playing either so something isn't right. I was disappointed when I had to play but not too badly the game play was actually a lot better than I remember the lighting is very well done and Nance and Simms are a great choice for the play calling. Yes Simms gets irritating especially after he complains about my QB throwing too many short passes and that he is afraid to throw it deep. But then when I do its an incompletion he complains about that too... Ugh.

Anyways I read that there are a lot of people hating this game but I can't say I hate it but I am a little disappointed. The key for me in any game I play whether its board game or video game is that I have fun. Madden I am having some fun but I am still disappointed that I can't coach or watch the cpu vs cpu go head to head, and even though I have found a work around for my lack of defensive skills so when it comes to being on Defense I just go to supersim and have it controlled that way. I feel that I have good sliders for when I am on the offense that I get pretty good and realistic stats. Just not sure if either 8 or 9 minutes is too long but will keep on experimenting with that.

So for me like I have said Madden is a nice game I am having some fun with but it is disappointing that they took away what I thought would always be there and what made the game enjoyable for me. I know now from reading in the forums that I am not the only one who feels this way and that there are many like me as well who feel that its great to either sit back and coach the game or just watch the CPU vs CPU go at it.
