Yep, the release of F1 2010 has been like a first corner accident and it threatens to undo the good work Code Masters had done in the lead up to the game's release.

The release of F1 2010 was easily my most anticipated release of the year. I, like many F1 fans, have waited and waited for a quality F1 game on my Next-Gen console and Code Masters promised to deliver a F1 racing sim like no other.

Let�s cut to the chase for those not up to speed. Below is a list of the reported bugs/glitches this game has out of the box(this list may have grown too I am told):

TBC (ALL FORMATS) -Pit limiter auto on regardless of setting. (ALL FORMATS) -wet times too fast, almost identical to dry times!??! (ALL FORMATS) - too much grip in the rain (ALL FORMATS) - too much grip with Intermediate/full wets (ALL FORMATS) - live timer doesn't show personal best sector times (ALL FORMATS) - third soft/hard tyre set not available in qualifying (ALL FORMATS) - penalties given to player when ai hit you and also far too sensitive in certain forced situations(ALL FORMATS) -Freezing and locking up often (XBOX360) -Remove hidden anti spin mechanic car doesn�t feel right (or give option on/off) (ALL FORMATS) -IN/OUT laps not counted in lap count for sessions (ALL FORMATS) -Users reporting Corrupt Save Data (ALL FORMATS)

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME CODE MASTERS?!?!??!?!

What are we to expect if this game is as expected to become an annual release? It's frightening to contemplate.

The Code Masters development team have been working on this game for some time now, they have had time on their side and we the consumers are right to be demanding answers. Let's be brutally honest, this is downright embarrassing for Code Masters.

This game still has the potential to be very good game, though it won't be remembered as a great one in my opinion. The taste left in the mouth after this release debacle has tarnished it for good. The game will be remembered for the issues it presented first and foremost, everything else second.

Will Code Masters be black flagged by consumers or will they rally to receive only a drive through penalty? Can they restore confidence in F1 fans who were chomping at the bit to get hold of this game?

It's time to revise their strategy and come up with something fast or they risk losing any goodwill earned with the F1 and racing sim community as a whole.

I was excited for this title as well. Good thing I waited because all of these problems would have definitely made for an unwarranted frustrating experience.
Hopefully they will fix this soon and when they do, I might consider picking this one up.

I am done with the game until they patch it. If we are waiting 2-4 weeks, I will hand it in.
