QoTD: YES. If you thought NBA officiating was bad, MLB umpiring this season has been worse.

Woman Says Citibank Fired Her Because She Was Too Hot - So many different angles here. I seen a story on this, this morning, on the local news. Hard to say what's up with this because I've seen how hot chicas in the office do cause major distractions but firing of one because of her "hotness" isn't right. Now, a couple of those outfits in the article ARE a bit much to be wearing to work and who knows what else she's worn to work or even what her former fellow female (uhh, fffs) co-workers have worn in comparison, as she claims they have either worn similar or worse to work.

As for the Latina thing, yea, ironically, I was just talking the other day about that provocative clothing wearing being apart of the Latin culture, no matter WHAT age or HOW the Latina may look. It doesn't apply to all of them but I see TOO MANY of them with out of control looks that BEG for attention. At any rate, "Citibank girl" should understand to tone it down being in a Corporate setting but, again, I don't know the full range of her work attire.

With all that being said, NYC is at-will employment state where an employer has the right to discharge an employee at any time for any reason. There wasn't the usual sexual harassment possibility, here, and there were attempts at trying to get her to "calm down" here work apparel, even if some of them were poorly expressed to her, by the way she states them.

At the end of the day, it is what it is, and she may or may not have a case. One thing I DO know is that she is BLAZING hot, even if her face is just average to me. Overall, she's 10, ironically, though, imo. Lol.

QOTD - JES!

QOTD: Hate to break up the fun, but no. It serves to be a distraction and should only be used in certain situations.

[Then again, when the Stars beat the Sabres for the Stanley Cup in '99 they didn't review Hull's OT winner that should have been disallowed due to a crease violation.]

QOTD: Yes, but replay suits certain sports better than others. Baseball's popularity is decreasing, in part due to games taking forever. How would adding more instant replay delays affect the length of games?

# 6 sportznut02 @ Jun 3
QOTD: Yes since the major sports have the technology to do it then I don`t see any reason not to.

QOTD: I wish instant replay was in soccer.

QOTD: I definitly feel bad for Gallaraga, and there should be review on a play like that. It would have take 10 seconds to see that he was clearly out.

I can see why the Citibank girl could be a distraction in the workplace but firing her for it ,if true, is flat out stupid.

QOTD: Yeah, I'm for Replay. Get it right, even if they didn't on the field/court/diamond/pitch.
