I dont ad block anywhere. If the ads get too annoying I just stop visiting that website.

I used to when I used Firefox, but I switched to Safari and don't block anymore.
The quality of ads on OS has been a LOT better in the last couple of months. They used to be mostly crap with blinking lights and annoying sounds trying to get people to click on it, which might be my biggest pet peeve. Now they are actually relevant and "click-worthy."

It's a sad cycle. I used to not block ads, but a lot of people did and so the ads got more intrusive on most sites I visit which annoyed me to no end and so I started blocking ads. So the answer is yes I do block the ads on here.

Sorry I Adblock every site. There is a serious fundamental problem with how ads are used on the internet. Just for fun I turned my adblock off a few weeks ago to see if ads were getting more tolerable. The very FIRST website I went too, I started to read the front page story and then the entire ****ing site folded over to the left and my entire screen was taken up by Drew Brees taking a shower. Unbelievable. So I went on to other sites and was immediately bombarded with massive on page pop-ups with tiny hidden close buttons, ads with loud and irritating sounds/voices, flashing ads, ads that follow you as you scroll down the page, interactive ads that literally prevent you from browsing normally, etc. It's insane. Doing that **** makes me NOT want to click on or pay attention to that ad. It's these awful implementations that lead people to block ads all together. If the ads were just simple boxes on the page that have some images and get the point across then that's fine, but the majority move, grow, flash, interrupt, or have sound. Also blocking ads, and mainly blocking flash ads will speed up your browsing by preventing that crap from loading. Sorry OS, I'd rather just donate up front then have ads slow down and frustrate my browsing experience.

OK just unblocked OS only, and early impressions are good. Every single ad is a flash ad, but they are tolerable so far. I'll leave it disabled here for now.
