QoTD: Pessimist. I think it comes from being a Cleveland sports fan all my life.

As someone that enjoys Conan over Jay, that's pure !@#$ if they plan on putting him back an hour. Jay just needs to retire.

QOTD: I'm a pessimist by nature. I can't help but think that people and society will ultimately disappoint, which makes me all the more grateful when things go great (meeting my wife, my son's birth and successful surgery, etc).

QOTD: I am a former pessimist, myself. I used to have a very negative view of many things because of people being pessimistic around me (although they probably never realized how negative they were since that's just how people were in my environment) how I was treated by others and how getting my hopes up high about things would ultimately lead to it being crashed to the ground.
By nature, though, I was a very naive, happy-go-lucky and optimistic kid. I was hated on because of it, looking back in hindsight. Life and people around me just made my optimism harder to see within myself, as time went on but I got it back, for the most part, sans the naive part. I think I needed to go through the tough things that made me feel so pessimistic to be able to come back to my grassroots optimistism with greater appreciation of who I am at my core.

As for the "Conan vs. Jay" deal, I like Conan more than Jay, personally, but I don't watch either show on a consistent basis. Jay has SOME funny moments where as Conan is just more of a quirky, more consistent funny, to me. It's all opinion based, of course, but something about Conan cracks me up. Maybe it's his big block head and cornball haircut or something. Lol.

QOTD: I try to be optimistic, but sometimes I am pessimistic.
