Pretty much agree with Kasey. Women are, of course, at a size, speed, strength disadvantage due to their nature but that isn't to say they aren't fierce competitors, great athletes, etc it's just that they can't/shouldn't compete with men. Until some tragic, rapid evolution occurs in women (and that includes any female species from animal, plant, etc) I don't see them ever being on the same page with men in terms of team sports.
And, of course, this isn't even taking into account the "good ol' boy" system, male chauvinism, and more.

QoTD: My wife had a discussion (argument?) about this topic over the weekend as it related to basketball. I don't anticipate it happening anytime soon in the major team sports, especially football and hockey.

QOTD: I think in some sports, Golf, Tennis, maybe baseball. I think maybe Candace Parker could hang tough with some NBA players as well.
