Yes, I've seen all of those types of goals, that you pointed out. I've also seen a few goals where players bat the puck out of the air, one timers on loose pucks and players shooting from their knees. I haven't seen the ones as described very often, so it really adds to the game, since you don't see them a lot. I've also seen the defense bat the pucks out, fyi.

I like to set up at the point and fire a shot and have one of my teammates try to redirect it in for a goal. Not automatic of course, but so cool to see on replay, over and over.

The stud goalies are just that, studs. While the mediocre goalies are definitely easier to score on, that doesn't necessarily mean it's easy.

Can you tinker around with the sliders, mainly the AI passing accuracy and pass speed and see if that stops the AI from having laser like passes. Thanks for doing this Q&A thing by the way.

Steve I've been trying to find out, is there an alternating camera view using the action cam this year. Or are we stuck skating "up" ice the entire game. thanks

From the looks of it, they are only offline modes. When going into online, there is Online Versus Mode, EASHL, Online Game Modes (Online Shootout, Online Team Play, Online Leagues).

It's only available in season mode and Be a GM mode, as far as I can tell.

Lowering the sliders for AI passing accuracy works, in this case. I haven't tried the demo, so I'm not sure if sliders work there, but adjusting the AI passing accuracy slider does work here.

You can change the "Player Type" (Tough Guy, Grinder, Playmaker, Sniper, Power Forward, Dangler, for example) but can't change default position, from what I can tell.

nhl 09's goalie BAP left much to be desired. With the new goalie controls, how has it improved? Is it more fun to play? can the AI score cheese goals on you like 09?
