If any of these links interest you, talk about them.QOTD: If you could change 1 rule in any sport, what would it be?

I dont know how I'd change it, or how to word it, but it would be removing fouling at the end of basketball games.

QotD: I'd let the players carry the bat around the bases with them. See if the catcher tries blocking the plate NOW!

QoTD: Give baseball a salary cap.

NFL games ending in a tie. They should keep playing until one team scores.

QoTD: Not sure if this really applies, but here goes... To Fix the Whole MLB All-Star Game/World Series Home Field Advantage Debacle: First of all, have the best performing players up to the All-Star break playing in the All-Star game (No Fan Vote, No every team needs a representative, etc.) Place them on the team based on their statistics combined with like a Manager/Player vote (who really knows better?) so that everyone who deserves to be there is there. Still make World Series Home Field Advantage determined by this game, but now they will actually care. To keep the fans happy, at they should do like a March Madness style ballot at the beginning of every season/preseason where fans pick who they think will end up making the All-Star teams...so they can compete against other fans in pools, etc... They also choose who will win (AL/NL) and MVP as tiebreakers or whatever.

I just think this could be a far more interesting and fun way to go about it, all the while making the All-Star game actually matter with truly the most deserving players being there. Should bring back some of that old AL/NL rivalry.

NFL = Give the teams a time limit instead of a sudden death so that we can have more of a sensible outcome.

NBA = Allow technicals to count towards personal fouls.

MLB = See boomhauertjs' response.

NBA - This is the only of the 4 major sports where you can get "ejected" from a game for committing too many fouls. This doesn't exist in the MLB (errors), NFL or NHL (penalties). Eliminate the 6 fouls and your out rule, and impose a stiffer penalty for players that reach, and exceed 6 fouls. For each foul committed up to and exceeding your sixth, treat it like a flagrant foul. 2 shots and the team retains posession. That'll make teams think twice about the "hack-a-shack" crap they employ.

Just my 2¢
