I have a few questions to ask you about your gaming.
1. Do you plan on using them for the 360 or the PS3?
2. Will this be for late night gaming or for gaming in general?
3. What is your price limit? How much are you willing to spend?
4. Do you also want to be able to chat online while you're gaming?
5. Do you have a receiver?
6. Do you want wireless or can you deal with a wired setup?
Personally, I got some really great headphones that aren't designed for gaming that I could use as a gaming headset. I picked up the Sennheiser HD 595 and just hooked them up to my receiver to do the late night gaming or the gaming that might be too violent to let loose throughout the house. Eventually, I'm going to get the A40 Mixamp and the Zalman mic attachment which would allow me to game on XBL when I decide to get back. Since I'm not seriously feeling online gaming as being a necessity just yet, I'm just cooling out with single player experiences. School basically keeping my belt tight as well as other expenses.
I checked out this thread on the AVS forums dedicated strictly to the headphones gaming scene. Gaming Headphones If you're a reader, you can start from the beginning or you can pick it up closer to the mid 80s. I basically did a bit of skimming and reading and got to my conclusion. Pretty good info in there. Good luck.

Thanks luv, looking at PC gaming for the most part.
Just gonna plug them into my headphone port on my speakers, not wanting to spend too much, maybe 100-150'ish? Not interested in chat.
