For our first entry of Short and Sweet we got to sit down with CSBA Duke Blue Devils Point Guard Mojo Rizing.

Mears: Starting off the season with a win Im sure is a huge confidence booster for you! Also a lot of people are saying you are a big favorite for POTY. Do you feel like there is some pressure there due to expectations? And if not how do you manage this expectations so they don�t effect your game?

Rizing: When you're on top everyone sees you. Everyone wants to be like you. Everyone wants to put up the #'s and Win Championships like you. So theres expectations that comes with a price. If you miss a shot, whats wrong with Mojo? you lose the ball, whats wrong mojo? if you lose a game, whats wrong with Mojo & his team? You gotta Rize above or drown. Pressure to me is just a word about fear,. I aint worry about it. Everyone deals with it - some deal with it like Mojo do, and some don't. But when you figure it out, how important it is to you, and you dont feel fear and environment its in, I look for pressure. I enjoy pressure. I look forward to it. I believe every time imma be on the court, Mojo's the best. The more shots Mojo hits, the more plays Mojo makes, the more games Mojo wins, reinforces it. When I miss, cause no matter how great you are, you gonna miss, but Mojo ain't let it bother me, I trust my coaches and teammates, and I built Mojo to have great confidence.
