Posted on March 9, 2012 at 01:31 PM.
The Chicago Bulls coming off of a win in Portland really gave the team a lot of enthusiasum for this big road trip. This game was a very defensive game. The game was back forth action they could barely even rest for a second. There were altogether 18 lead changes. Here's what Coach Thibideau had to say to the Chicago Tribune "this was by far the best defense we've played all season even with how many times the lead changed now we got to look forward to the Clippers and tying the series for the season. Shannon Brown led the way for Phoenix with 15 points, Marcin Gortat had 10 points and 6 rebounds, surprising not Sebastian Telfair had 7 points off the bench and Steve Nash and Markieff Morris each had 5 points. For the Bulls J.R. Smith had 20 points, Joakim Noah was very helpful rebounding with 9 and 11 points, Derrick Rose had 11 Points and 10 assists to make it his first double double of the year, Luol Deng had 10 points while Carlos Boozer had just 5 points and 4 rebounds and Jimmy butler and Taj Gibson had 2 points each.
