Well, things looked promising for the Bobcats when camp began, but then once the pre-season games started, it all went downhill from there. Stephen Jackson was injured in the first pre-season game, and that was just the beginning. Tyrus Thomas would miss 2 months of the season, and Gerald Henderson, D.J. Augustin and Boris Diaw would also go on to miss significant portions of time. When it came down to it, we dealt Captain Jack at the deadline to the Bulls in exchange for some needed cap relief, some young talent, and a couple of draft picks.
The bright spot though was rookie PG Kemba Walker, who won Rookie of the Year honors and averaged 26.1 points per game *** well as over 5 assists and 5 rebounds each.

C Dwight Howard from Magic to the Lakers
