So my Ravens won. Another victory helping secure our place atop the AFC North. With the real refs back and this being my first Thursday Night Football game watched in my home... It couldn't have gone better.
Firstly the most talked about topic in the NFL lately. The new old referees. They returned tonight to call the game, and holy hell was it a smooth game. The right calls were made. Nothing too obvious missed. These guys were needed. I still think they're overpaid, but how much better ... Read More

Monday Night Football concluded not too long ago. What a fiasco. Every week that passes with these replacement refs is just making the game look more and more like a joke. The main issue seems to be with pass interference. Refs are flipping back and forth on if they call it or not. One quarter there will be continuous holding by the DB's without a single yellow flag going up, next play the smallest touch from either a DB or a WR ends up drawing more flags than most games saw in total last year. ... Madden Ultimate Team 13 is going pretty well. I've finally hit 20,000 coins. While it's clearly not a fortune, it's nice being able to snag any great deals that show up on the market. That being said, I'm really finding it to turn into a grind. Not sure how long it'll keep my interest.

So it meant this Sunday I spent my day watching NFL RedZone on my 60' LCD. My ... Read More

So far in MUT 13, I've made coins by reselling cards and playing games.. However each time I noticed that the contracts wore out (Requiring some of the coins I won to be put towards buying more contracts.)
The downside is however that my only other option is to exclusively sell cards... But doing that takes a longggg time for little reward... I'm sort of at a loss for how to proceed.

Been playing it for a week now. It seems like it has potential, but man can it get frustrating. A few games in and more players need contracts then I'd like. I think the OCD in me wont let me play this for too long.
