Josh Barfield is playing some outfield this spring for the Indians to increase his versatility and reviews have been good so far with him in CF. Ryan Garko is also getting some work in LF and may try that as well. I personally see that as a disaster as he is so slow. Also, I'm not sure if you could really add LF to his positions since he is already 1B and 1B/C.

Garko ended up playing well this spring in both LF and RF. Barfield has played 3B along with all 3 OF positions with CF being his best. Jhonny Peralta wore a shin guard and elbow guard on opening day. Trevor Crowe now wears #26 and Tony Graffinino is wearing #4.
