NFC 'Ship Rematch: Vikings @ Saints Stuck

Same Ole Situation

Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings lose to the Saints Thursday night in a rematch of the 2009 NFC Championship game.

Not only did the lose but the lost in the same exact fashion as they did 8 months ago, on a field goal from Garrett Hartley in Overtime

Percy Harvin was the Vikings standout leading the team in receiving as well as taking a kick return the the house to force Overtime. Adrian Peterson struggled, he averaged 2.9 yards per carry, while Brett Favre was mediocre, throwing 2 picks in key situations, which is nothing new to him.

Drew Brees struggled in front of a sold out Superdome crowd only completing 46 percent of his passes. Pierre Thomas stole the show rushing for 2 touchdowns late in regulation to secure overtime.

The Vikings take on the Dolphins at Mall of America Field next week, while the Saints travel to Candlestick Park to face the 49ers.
