WoW....the year i finally get both Madden & NCAA i haven't done that in like four years....wit that said folks yes M11 looks like M10,but it won't play like it...from the new catching animations to locomotion which changes the feel and play of the game i feel that come August10th midnite soon as we leave gamestop put the game in...we will get the biggest shock of our life;that this game will be very good an also very playable thats if it plays like NCAA11 demo which 9 times out of 10 it will.I still have my lil gripes like double hit tackling,refs dont actually throw yellow flags on the field,cbs & fox intergation, active move out the way sidelines & real team helmets in probowl game,but i can do without do to this years gameplay & i think all the Backbreaker fans will be trading in BB once they play M11...really the only good thing about BB is there tackling physics....sorry i'm a NFL football fan...even i a ESPN2K5 fanatic knows M11 trumps BB,but all in all get ready for a real shocker come august10th.

I didn't bother buying Madden last year, but I may this year. I like how the game looks and I hope it plays well. Maybe with some slider adjustments etc., Madden'll be playable this year.

I think it's gonna be a lot better then BB. I two wanna play with NFL teams. If BB had real NFL teams I think more people would play it. People wanna play with there teams, or other teams for the most part.

Normally I would agree with your points in the blogs you write, but this year I have to say that unless there is a HUGE and I do mean HUGE surprise in store...Madden 11 is not going to "shock" anybody. If they did...it would be a very pleasant surprise!

Good writeup but I'll just wait for the Franchise Mode rewrite in Madden 12. I haven't purchased the game since Madden 06. That mode is what keeps me playing.

I want to stay positive about it too but I just won't be happy until madden integrates the real time physics engine into their gameplay...I will still buy it though

I def plan on getting madden this year, like every year, but not on release day. This will be the first time that I will not be picking up Madden at release since Madden 97 (picked it up a few weeks later, had to wait to save enough for a ps one)

I havn't enjoyed madden yet on next gen as much as I have last gen, and because of that I just don't play it enough to justify paying $60. I will wait until it drops to $40 or $30. I'm not a Madden complainer, or an EA *****, but I'm just gonna wait this year. I do plan on getting NCAA 11 this summer once the OS community puts out their roster. I also love NFL 2k5! Love all of the current and throwback rosters we have available for that. If you don't know about that then go check out the 2k5 forums, those guys do a great job.
