After seeing Backbreaker & dealing with the same Madden year after year..i gotta say man we need to get Visual Concepts back into the football game making business A.S.A.P...they have to be sitin back laughin & shakin their heads at what is bein sold to the people now days.Backbreaker maybe the new animation thats been long overdue...it's cool,but i can't relate to 11 on 11 Rock'EM Sock'EM Robots wit glowin bodies & glowin firstdown markers...sweet animation not canned ala Madden...but with Backbreaker all i see is a up to date blitz with all 11players. Here's were i say to this day ESPN2K5 is the best NFL simulated football game ever made & to think from 2004 to now how much better football games we have played if that whole NFL rights thing never happen...c'on folks people are importing roster from today and playing a game from 7 years ago..that speaks volumes folks....just look at the NBA2K series they took that all the way to the top & still outshining NBA live in sales & overall better game,all i'm sayin is that group over their at Visual Concepts(2K)has the right formula with that NFL rights hangin ova their heads.

APF2K8 is a better football game than 2K5, but to each their own. BackBreaker doesn't look anything like Blitz. It cracks me up when I read people who say this... have you ever played Blitz? Seen how the players run, how they tackle? It's not even close. All of the glowing can be turned off, so you can play however you like. Configuration FTW.

Thanks. I think the BackBreaker team made a mistake by leading with all of their 'aggressive' hit tackles. Those aren't going to be the mainstay of the game. They have incidental contact, using hands to push off players, wrap tackles, the whole deal. I'm sure we'll have plenty to talk about once the game is released, but the tackling will more than likely be very low on the list of complaints.

I think VC will get into the college game after this years season. After the Bowl games The contract wears off. NFL2k5 was great. And while madden made some small improvements, the presentation was not like 2k could make it. Backbreaker should be a decent game, I like what I see so far. I hope they made good plays though.
