Ron Burgundy's Game Notes
Well we weren't able to pull off the sweep and move into first place, but we are still moving in the right direction.
This was a great pitchers duel, it was neat to see Chris Young pitch the entire game for himself even though he got the loss.
Scott Hairston has been made the primary left fielder because he is hitting the lights out right now, Chase Headley will make spot starts in left and at third.
David Eckstein continues to raise his average up to around the Mendoza Line.
This was a positive series for us, chalk up another win in the bigger picture, that's quite a few series we've won in a row.
The bullpen has gotten two much needed days of rest and are good to go now.
