Ron Burgundy's Game Notes
We have our two game sweep we were looking for in this series, it jumped us up nicely in the division.
Our team is firing on all cylinders right now, the hitting is there, the pitching is there, we are playing good baseball.
Chris Young pitched very well today, even though he couldn't go deep our bullpen stepped up and kept us on top.
Heath Bell and Cla Meredith have been lights out lately, they pitched perfect 8th and 9th's respectively.
Jody Gerut has been solid as our main leadoff man, he suits that role well with his great contact and speed.
